Privacy Policy

LifeOS ("we", "our", or "us") operates the LifeOS app and website at getlifeos.info. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

Account data. Email address, display name, and encrypted password (or OAuth token) when you sign up.

Content you create. Trips, tasks, notes, documents, health entries, and finance records you add to LifeOS.

Integration data. If you connect Gmail, Google Calendar, or bank accounts, we read and store the data you authorize — only while the integration is active.

Analytics. Anonymous usage events via PostHog (page views, feature usage). No personal identifiers are sent.

Server logs. IP address, browser type, and request timestamps for security and debugging. Retained for 30 days.

Payment data. Processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

• To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset, waitlist updates)
• To detect and prevent fraud or abuse
• To comply with legal obligations
• To analyze anonymous usage patterns and improve the product
• To process payments via Stripe

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

LifeOS uses Anthropic's Claude API to generate briefings and recommendations. Your data is sent to Anthropic's API only to generate your response — it is not used to train their models. See Anthropic's Privacy Policy. for details. We process AI requests server-side; your raw data is never sent directly from your browser to Anthropic.

We share data with the following sub-processors, only to the extent necessary to provide the service:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage (EU/US regions).
• Anthropic — AI inference for briefings and recommendations.
• Stripe — payment processing. Card data never touches our servers.
• PostHog — anonymous product analytics.
• Google — Calendar, Gmail, Maps integrations (only when you authorize them).

We do not sell data to any third party. Sub-processors are contractually bound to process data only on our behalf.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is permanently deleted within 30 days. Server logs are retained for 30 days. Anonymous analytics data is retained indefinitely in aggregated form.

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256). We use Row-Level Security in Supabase so your data is isolated from other users at the database level. We conduct periodic security reviews.

If you discover a security vulnerability, please report it responsibly to security@getlifeos.info.

LifeOS is operated from the EU. If you access the service from outside the EU, your data may be transferred internationally. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) with sub-processors. For questions, contact privacy@getlifeos.info.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of your personal data.
• Rectification — correct inaccurate data.
• Erasure — request deletion of your data.
• Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
• Objection — object to certain processing activities.
• Restriction — request that we limit how we process your data.

To exercise these rights, use the Settings → Your Data section in the app, or email us at privacy@getlifeos.info. We respond within 30 days.

We process your personal data under the following legal bases:

• Contract — processing necessary to provide the service you signed up for.
• Legitimate interests — fraud prevention, security, product analytics.
• Legal obligation — compliance with applicable law.
• Consent — optional analytics and marketing emails (you may withdraw at any time).

You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority if you believe we are processing your data unlawfully.

LifeOS is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, contact us immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect.
